Invisalign® treatment is an advanced aligner system that gradually straightens teeth. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign® aligners are removable, more comfortable, clear, and virtually invisible when worn.
The first step in the treatment is to ensure that your teeth and gums are healthy, meaning that any necessary dental work must be completed before the process begins. Once we make x-rays and dental photographs, precise digital impressions of your teeth and other necessary information is sent to Invisalign®’s headquarters.
Next, a virtual 3D model of your teeth is created, after which we develop an in-depth digital treatment plan, taking into account any input you might have before anything is finalized. Once your aligners are ready, you’ll wear them every day for a set amount of time, with the ability to remove them while eating or brushing. The treatment is followed by a form of retention (often a night-time retainer or bonded wire) to maintain results.
